Bridge outside New Zealand
Bridge is more than just a game; it's a global community that brings together players from all corners of the world. We are proud to be part of this vibrant international scene, which is richer than just sending representative teams away to play in international events. Players are encouraged to travel to other countries and support bridge organised by other national bridge organisations.
The most notable of these NBOs is the Australian Bridge Federation. Every year, people travel both ways across the Tasman Sea to play bridge. New Zealand and Australia have a reciprocal Masterpoints program, which means that any masterpoints you win from playing an Australian event will be credited to your NZ masterpoint total automatically.
